Dutch facility adds Digital Vision Film Master

Oct 6, 2009 9:19 AM

Loods, Lux & Lumen in Amsterdam has completed installation of new Digital Vision Film Master color grading and finishing that will be used to grade Dutch feature films for digital cinema release as well as documentaries, commercials, shorts and broadcast productions.

The Film Master system enhances Loods, Lux & Lumen’s color correction capability with increased speed and first-class picture quality. The system will be used in the next few months to grade and finish two feature films. As early adopters of digital cinema standards, the Film Master fits with the facility’s DI workflow, which includes grading directly on the big screen using its 2K digital cinema projector.
