DVC introduces latest ClipRecorder Xtreme with XENA2 boards

Digital Video Computing (DVC) debuted the new ClipRecorder XTreme with the new XENA2 (formerly KONA2) uncompressed multistandard I/O boards at NAB2005.

All models of the ClipRecorder XTreme now have dual-link HD, HD and SD inputs and 8- or 10-bit outputs via the XENA2. Users have the option of 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 operating modes. An analog component output with 12-bit D/A conversion is available.

With the XENA2 I/O channel, hardware up- and down-conversion from HD to SD and vice versa is supported. The new server platform used for ClipRecorder Xtreme allows the use of multiple XENA I/O boards.

DVC also showed the new ClipRecorder Light which can record uncompressed HD and SD.
