Enhance Technology has unveiled the ULTRASTOR RS8 IP-4, a quad-port GigE iSCSI storage solution designed for high-impact and high-volume network storage environments.

The ULTRASTOR RS8 IP-4 offers expandability and scalability by connecting to four more RS16 JS enterprise JBOD storage systems. The new expansion capability enables users to increase the capacity of their SAN environment. SAS and SATA drives can be deployed within the same RAID-protected volume to optimize the overall SAN design for a wide variety of workloads.

The ULTRASTOR RS8 IP-4 is a 2RU eight-drive enterprise-grade independent RAID system that is designed for performance-driven 15K SASes and cost-effective 3Gb/s SATA disks.

The ULTRASTOR RS8 IP-4 brings enterprise RAID features, such as RAID-6, Snapshot, WebGUI management and an affordable iSCSI SAN solution, to existing networks.
