Each R, G and B channel on the canalettoMDi has individually controllable gain, lift and gamma settings.

eyeheight's canalettoMDi, a high-quality multidefinition digital color corrector, is among new products the company will show at CABSAT 2007 in Dubai beginning March 6.

The corrector has input and output support up to 1.5Gb/s, HD-SDI SMPTE-274 and incorporates SDI auto sensing. Each R, G and B channel has individually controllable gain, lift and gamma. An integral Ethernet control interface enables all facilities and control menus to be operated from a PC via one-to-one connection, local network or remote Internet access. The Ethernet control feature is available as an option for canalettoSDi, canalettoHDi and canalettoMDi.

Also to be shown is the company's new legalEyesMDi legalizer, which accepts 1080i and 720p HD as well as 625i PAL and 525i NTSC SD. It enables program producers and editors to ensure that the level of their video signals remain within the strict tolerances required for HD and SD transmission to air and DVD mastering. Levels can be monitored continuously and manually, or automatically corrected.

eyeheight's new keyEyesMDi is a multidefinition downstream linear keyer with background, fill and key inputs. It offers all the facilities required for generating HD and SD matte overlays.

The new safeEyesMDi multidefinition safe area generator enables programmers, editors and telecine transfer facilities to ensure that the essential elements of their source material remain within the safe areas of a 16:9 TV display.
