FOR-A will introduce DNE-2, a real-time video noise eraser that can be used to remove grain and dust noise originating from film to video transfer, at NAB2008.
The DNE-2 noise eraser incorporates FOR-A's image processing technology with motion compensation technology to remove only noise-filled signals, without harming the quality of the original video.
The DNE-2 uses motion compensation technology, which is also the core technology in the company’s FRC-7000 frame rate converter, to maintain a high level of accuracy in the replacement information.
The DNE-2 supports HD-SDI input and output and several formats, including: 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 1080/24p, 1080/24psf, 1080/23.98p, 1080/23.98psf, 720/59.94p and 720/50p.
