France Vision chooses Medialive content protection

In-flight entertainment provider France Vision Services has selected multimedia content protection solution provider Medialive to supply content protection of its Video-On-Demand (VOD) catalog dedicated to the in-flight entertainment (IFE) market.
The agreement will allow France Vision Services to bring several applications to the VOD service for the IFE market, including teasing capabilities, high-definition video and enhanced content management.
Medialive’s technology, which secures transmission and storage of audio/video streams and downloads through any telecommunication network, matches France Visions Services’ objectives. The solution protects content and offers DRM/CAS and watermarking combination capabilities that fit the IFE market, as well as traditional telecom and digital television sectors.
