Presented through the DIVAdirector Web-based interface, Front Porch Digital will show new improvements in efficiency, reliability and repeatability of video and audio quality control.

Front Porch Digital, a provider of content storage management solutions, will show its new DIVArchive v. 6.1 at NAB. The update will feature multiple parallel transcode support, a function to rebuild damaged data tape functionality, and storage plan manager enhancements.

Also to be shown in the 6.1 update are DIVArchive components running as services, LTO-4 tape drive support, IBM TS3550 library support and partial restore of Harris Leitch AVI DV-25 and Matrox IMX50.

DIVAprotect is a new option for DIVArchive that provides continuous monitoring of storage device and media performance and warns of degradation before it results in catastrophic data loss. This enables the user to predict and prevent storage failures by preemptive replacement of storage drives and media. DIVAprotect brings a new level of content preservation security to DIVArchive.

DIVAnalyze is a hardware- and software-based automated quality assessment tool that adds another invaluable content-aware feature to set available in DIVArchive. Presented to users through the DIVAdirector Web-based interface, DIVAnalyze enables improvement of efficiency, reliability and repeatability of video and audio quality control, particularly in situations involving batch content ingest.
