Front Porch Digital unveils DIVAnalyse at IBC2007

Front Porch Digital at IBC2007 rolled out the DIVAnalyse, which adds another content-aware feature to the DIVArchive content storage management (CSM) application for the media and entertainment industry.
DIVAnalyse allows content analysis to be dynamically defined in DIVArchive, leveraging the company’s Storage Plan Manager functionality. MAM, newsroom or automation control systems can define which content should be analyzed as part of the CSM process.
Built on DIVArchive distributed architecture, any number of DIVAnalyse engines can be added to the existing or expanded DIVArchive infrastructure to provide automated, in-path content analysis functionality.
Each DIVAnalyse engine can perform analysis on both SD and HD content many times faster than real time, leveraging a proprietary hardware-based accelerator board to assist in the process.
