At last week’s HD World Conference and Exposition, Fujinon showcased several HD lenses: the XA22x7BES compact, HD studio lens; the HA42x9.7BERD telephoto lens; and the ZA series of lenses for 2/3in HD cameras.

The XA22x7BES lens is designed for stations using ENG-type cameras for studio applications, as well as those employing smaller field production units. The lightweight box lens is engineered to provide higher optical quality than standard ENG-type lenses, and offers the zoom and focus performance of a larger studio lens. It is well-suited for shooting in tight locations and smaller studios.

The HA42x9.7BERD telephoto lens is a Premier series stabilized telephoto ENG-style lens with 42X zoom and a 2X extender for large venues or sporting events. It includes Fujinon’s DIGI POWER digital servo remote control for full servo studio control, which makes it ideal for robotics, jibs and tower cams.

Part of the ZA series, the ZA22x7.6BERM ENG-style HD telephoto lens has 22X zoom, a 7.6 focal length at the wide end and 167mm focal length at the telephoto end. A 2X extender is incorporated for extreme telephoto shots. The ZA17x7.6BERM standard HD ENG lens provides 17X zoom and 2X extender, with a 7.6 focal length at the wide end and 130mm focal length at the telephoto end. Finally, the ZA12x4.5BERM wide-angle HD ENG lens features 12X zoom with 2X extender, 4.5 focal length at the wide end and 54mm focal length at the telephoto end.
