The optically bonded 70in HD display from GDS and Distec is now in field trials in the United States.

Global Display Solutions (GDS) and Distec GmbH have partnered to offer a 70in HD TFT display for the digital signage market. In developing the display for Distec, GDS used a proprietary optical bonding technology, which reduces overall system reflection to less than 2 percent depending on the panel construction, enabling sunlight readability without the need for increased display brightness.

In addition to high ambient light readability, the construction improves durability, removes condensation and fogging, and blocks dust and debris.
