Gennum to spotlight HDMI connectivity, 3Gb/s transmission

At IBC2008, Gennum will showcase new solutions for HDMI connectivity, 3Gb/s transmission and PCI Express.
With solutions that enable D-Cinema and 1080p/1080p 12-bit deep color, Gennum will preview advanced HD technologies as well as new PCI Express solutions that enable high-rate embedded applications beyond the PC.
The company also will highlight its ActiveConnect solutions, which enable full HDMI 1.3 connectivity over coaxial and thin HDMI. New for the convention will be ActiveConnect support for Cat 5 cabling from 65.6ft to 328ft.
