OEM integrator of RAID, SAN and storage/video servers Globalstor Data will debut the ExtremeStor-DI REDe, which offers compatibility with RED Digital Cinema cameras, at the ASSIMILATE booth at NAB2008.
The ExtremeStor-DI REDe features dual quad-core processors that are optimized for uncompressing and playing back RED camera footage as a high-resolution 2K image in real time at 24fps.
Available in a 24-drive 5RU that offers up to 24TB, the ExtremeStor-DI REDe is also available in a 10-drive tower with up to 10TB of storage. The ExtremeStor-DI REDe includes the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600/5600 by PNY professional graphics board.
