Grass Valley introduces Spirit 2K

Grass Valley has introduced the latest member of its Spirit film scanning product line, the Spirit 2K.

The Spirit 2K offers real-time film scanning to 10-bit 2k (2048x1556) data, and telecine functionality in SD and HD.

The Spirit 2K includes look-up tables, image rotation and the ability to scan VistaVision stock. It also offers options such as the internal six-vector color corrector. It uses RGB image detection, as does the Spirit 4K.
