Representing one of the largest broadcast technology projects in the region, Munsif, a growing newspaper and print media company in Hyderabad, India, is set to launch a new 24-hour national news channel called Munsif TV with Grass Valley technology. A new facility, now under construction, will include five Grass Valley SD LDK 400 cameras, a Kayak DD2 production switcher, Concerto Series router and a Grass Valley Aurora multiseat, shared-storage digital news editing platform.
The project will be on-air in November and is one of the few large projects being built in India. The contract also calls for Grass Valley to provide local services, such as equipment installation, commissioning and training over several years.
