Harris introduces Maxiva family of air-cooled low-power UHF transmitters

Harris introduced the Harris Maxiva UAX series of air-cooled, solid-state transmitters for low-power UHF transmission at IBC2008.

Featuring Harris PowerSmart technology, Maxiva UAX air-cooled transmitters offer robust and scalable low-power UHF solutions for analog and digital broadcasting. Harris showcased the Maxiva UAX transmitter series in analog and DVB-T modulation schemes at the convention in Amsterdam.

The Maxiva UAX was designed specifically for broadcasters that require a cost- and space-efficient solution for low-power transmission. Available in power levels from 10W to 2kW, Maxiva UAX transmitters are well suited for low-power applications from full-market coverage to gap filler applications. The PowerSmart architecture for solid-state transmitters enables high power density, compact foot print and high efficiency.
