Harris unveils Broadcast Master version 8.20

Harris unveiled the newest version of Broadcast Master, a scalable sales and scheduling system designed for grow­ing TV operations, at IBC2008.

Broadcast Master version 8.20 provides sales and scheduling support for small-to-mid-sized TV stations in international markets. It delivers new features that let broadcasters have better ratings and demographics data on hand at every stage of the sales and traffic process.

This allows spots and promos to be placed where they will be seen by the ideal, target audiences for that particular content. In addition, the system includes improved support — from scheduling to invoicing — for interactive, nonlinear content, such as pop-up ads, as well as product placements within shows.

Version 8.20 also enables operators to specify the placement basis behind any spot.
