At IBC2005, IAC of Winchester, UK, will exhibit what is believed to be the world’s first “green” voice-over booth.
Developed at the IAC’s research and development facility in New York, the booth features natural denim fibers from jeans, which are used as an environmentally friendly acoustic in-fill within the booth’s structural panels. The in-fill is sourced in the UK.
IAC Voice-Over Booths, as well as full-scale studios and editing suites are all constructed using the company’s Moduline system. Studios and suites are acoustically rated, modular acoustic panels form the walls, floors and ceilings. Each panel is filled with the green in-fill.
