Aardman Animations will be presented with this year’s IBC International Honour For Excellence. The award will be presented to David Sproxton, executive chairman of Aardman during the IBC ceremony.

Acknowledged worldwide for its animated characters, Aardman Animations was recognized by the jury for the unique nature of its work, which integrates real-world imagery of model making, claymation and miniatures with technology-intensive CGI, motion tracking and digital finishing.

This award is judged by the IBC Council, which is an advisory group drawn from the world’s top broadcasters and technology suppliers.
