ITC unveils next coaxial connector

ITC has unveiled its new series of coaxial connectors specifically designed for A/V installers in Europe and other regions with the same connector standards. ITC's system provides a quick and cost-effective alternative to soldering or compression methods.

Current solder and compression termination systems require multiple tools or dies to make a connection. ITC's solutions, however, do not require a tool for termination, a significant benefit for residential and commercial A/V system installers. The toolless system lowers costs by reducing termination time, complexity and failure rate.

To ensure long-term, reliable connections, the devices from ITC feature a captive center pin that securely grips onto the center conductor using a spring tension system for maximum contact and conductivity. The toothed outer retainer ring holds the connector firmly in place while spinning inside the product to provide torsional strain relief for increased reliability. In addition, ITC connectors can easily be reused.
