Latvia-based JZ Microphones has introduced the BT-201, a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with changeable capsules that offer a choice of patterns — cardioid, omni and open cardioid, with an optional pattern of open cardioid with a pad of -20db. Capsule changes are fast and accurate, using a magnetic connection design.
The BT-201 features low self-noise and detailed sound with smooth, transparent highs, optimal presence and natural low-end response. Each capsule is carefully tested for all parameters and measured in an anechoic chamber for optimum performance. The mic comes with a five-year warranty.
The base package contains one microphone and three changeable heads. Optional accessories include the open-cardioid/-20 dB capsule and JZ1-7 shock mount. A stereo pair set is also available.
