KVCR-TV has added Sundance Digital’s Titan automation

KVCR-TV has added Sundance Digital’s Titan automation

KVCR-TV, the PBS affiliate serving Los Angeles, recently cutover to its first automation suite, a multichannel Sundance Digital Titan package.

The station, owned by the San Bernardino Community College District, chose a three-channel Titan to control its first, second and third channels and analog simulcast.

The configuration includes TitanSync to provide a backup for the primary system, two Air Control workstations, two List Processors, three Media Prep Stations and two Sundance Integrated Device Operations Networks (SIDONs). The installation also includes an SQL Data Server, Sundance Archive Manager (SAM), Intelli-Sat PBS version for satellite record, and Launch Box, a direct access control panel. The Titan drives an Omneon Spectrum server, Harris Integrator Gold router and a Harris IconMaster master control switcher.
