KVIE-DT, the PBS affiliate in Sacramento, CA, has equipped its main studio with three new Hitachi SK-HD1000 multistandard, multiformat studio/field cameras.
The SK-HD1000 cameras, which are equipped with Canon HD studio lenses, will be used to produce several live local KVIE TV programs. The purchase was partially funded by a federal grant program.
KVIE serves the Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto market, broadcasting to more than 1.3 million households in 28 counties.
