Laird Telemedia to introduce LTM-6000D converter

At NAB2006, Laird Telemedia will introduce the LTM-6000D media converter.

The LTM-6000D functions as a stand-alone audio and video signal converter with time code insertion and a new operating menu system. The LTM-6000D supports DV, component, S-video, composite, AES/EBU digital audio, and balanced analog audio with simultaneous outputs. Control is through a Web-style menu system for an intuitive operator interface.

Laird's exclusive time code insertion feature eliminates the problems of working with time code in DV. External SMPTE LTC and VITC can be serialized and deserialized with the LTM-6000D.
