Leightronix will introduce NEXUS, a new specialized automation system that delivers an all-in-one solution for local cable and broadcast television operations that require digital playback capabilities and support for legacy equipment, at this year’s NAB convention.
The NEXUS provides multichannel digital video playback and recording, digital messaging/signage, DVD/VCR machine control and video/audio signal routing. It operates as a stand-alone device and is managed via network using provided WinNEXUS software. A built-in, high-speed Ethernet port and simplified front panel setup allow for quick and easy connection to a local or wide area network (LAN or WAN) or the Internet.
