Lightworks ships Softworks Version 1.1

Lightworks has released Softworks Version 1.1, a software-only package with all of the editing tools of the company’s Alacrity MR without the support for video and audio I/O hardware.

Material and projects can be exchanged or shared with Alacrity and other editing systems in a wide range of formats, including DV25, MPEG-2, uncompressed and omf.

Softworks can be installed on Windows XP PC systems. An Intel Dual-Core or dual processor is recommended. Softworks is available in a full version and a simpler Softworks LE version.
