Lumiere TV (LTV), the Cypriot pay-TV broadcaster, will upgrade its broadcast facilities to digital with a complete Leitch peripheral system.
Leitch will provide a wide range of conversion, distribution and synchronization equipment for digital and analog signals, including the Leitch DAS-3901 composite decoder, part of the NEO Simplicity Series that combines audio and video processing functions on a single module. Leitch also will supply the DPS-575 digital processing synchronizer, which is equally suited for use in analog, digital or hybrid facilities.
The Leitch Command Control System, a real-time command and control system that provides configuration, control, monitoring and secure access to Leitch and third-party equipment on a network, regardless of network topology will tie the system together.
Equipment is scheduled for delivery in October.
