Marshall Electronics announces three new portable field monitors

The V-LCD70P-HDA, V-LCD70P-HDMI and V-LCD70P-3GSDI are the latest additions to Marshall Electronics’ line of portable field monitors. Each model weighs 1.3lb, providing a durable and lightweight design. In addition, they offer the ability to adapt up to nine different battery configurations for providing mobile operation in the field.
All three models feature Marshall’s digital TFT-MegaPixel high-resolution LCDscreen with 1.2 million pixels, 4-pin XLR power jack and optical grade polycarbonate screen protection. Analog signals are digitized using advanced 10-bit processing and an adaptive five-line comb filter. The V-LCD70P-HDA offers composite and component outputs, while the V-LCD70P-HDMI offers composite, component and HDMI inputs. The V-LCD70P-3GSDI provides composite, component, and 3G/SD/HD inputs.
Other features include a wide variety of screen formats and markers, four user-configurable front-panel function buttons, RGB check field/field detect, and RGB gain and bias control. A False Color filter aids in the setting of camera exposure, and Peaking Filter aids the camera operator in obtaining the sharpest possible picture.
