Marshall Electronics unveils HD monitors with direct fiber-optic video input

Marshall Electronics has released new HD monitors with direct fiber-optic video input.

The company’s new MD (modular design) series of monitors integrates Telecast Fiber Systems’ TeleCube fiber-optic HD/SDI transmission input/output modules. These new fiber modules deliver a broad range of digital rates while maintaining the signal quality that broadcasters and integrators demand.

With broadcast production facilities looking for 3Gb/s SDI integration in the future, Marshall fills the void with new fully featured, high-end monitors with full triple-rate 3Gb/s and HD-SDI support. For distances beyond 492ft, fiber-optic signaling is required. To meet this need, Marshall turned to Telecast Fiber Systems and its fiber-optic modules.
