Minnetonka Audio Software (MASI) has added a Dolby E encoder to the SurCode family. SurCode for Dolby E Encoder compresses up to eight channels of audio in various program formats as a single stereo Dolby E file, completing the workflow from production to broadcast on a single workstation.
Mac and PC installers for multiple plug-in standards, including Pro Tools, VST and AudioTools AWE, are supplied with the purchase of a single SurCode for Dolby E Encoder license. The use of an iLok key makes the license portable among workstations and facilities.
SurCode for Dolby E Encoder is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2009 and will be available online and through MASI pro audio resellers.
