Mojave Audio debuts microphone for voice-overs

Mojave Audio now offers a large diaphragm, phantom-powered, solid-state condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid pattern. The new the MA-201 fet is designed to give warm, full-bodied reproduction of the human voice for broadcast voice-overs.

The MA-201 fet has none of the shrillness and high frequency distortion artifacts that are often encountered with modern condenser microphones.

Utilizing a three-micron gold-sputtered capsule, Jensen audio transformer, military-grade FET and custom designed low-noise resistors, the MA-201 fet performs at a level reminiscent of some of the best loved classic condenser microphones, the company said.
