Moldovan TV has acquired a Ross Video Vision QMD/X production switcher, including a Vision 2M control panel mixed with a Vision 3 QMD frame for its transition to HDTV.
The Vision QMD/X offers a choice of seven different control panel models, two rack-frame sizes and three configurations. Control panels range from the Vision 1, a one-MLE, 16-crosspoint button panel, to the Vision 4, a four-MLE, 40-crosspoint button panel.
The Vision QMD/X provides four keys per ME, and up to four MEs are available in a small or large chassis. The small chassis, the QMD, is a compact 3RU frame that offers four full four-keyer MEs and 48 multidefinition inputs. The large chassis, the QMD-X, is an expanded 8RU frame that offers four full four-keyer MEs, six keys downstream and 96 multidefinition inputs.
