Multidyne HD-3000 delivers 3Gb/s serial digital video fiber transport

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will unveil multiple fiber-optic transport solutions, including the HD-3000 3Gb/s serial digital video fiber-optic transport link, at NAB2008

The HD-3000 supports the 1080p progressive 3Gb/s HD format and is designed to ease the engineering and financial difficulties associated with the migration to digital and HD television. It provides a solution for the fiber-optic transport and distribution of virtually any digital signal of 5Mb/s-3Gb/s and features future-proofing system designs and infrastructure to support 1080p.

The company will also unveil the TP-RGB-1000 UTP link, which transports UXGA (1600 x 1200) video and stereo audio over Cat 5, 5e, or Cat 6 UTP. Features include automatic equalization and advanced anti-skew technology that automatically corrects skew problems and distortion.

Additionally, Multidyne will roll out the DVI-5000 single- and dual-link long-haul transport solution for high-quality uncompressed DVI signals over a single fiber. Features include support for DVI signals up to WQXGA resolution and stereo audio and data.
