A Daktronics DakTicker display has been installed to bring the latest information to NASCAR fans visiting the NASCAR Sports Grille in Orlando, FL.
The display measures about .5ft by 87ft with 34mm center-to-center pixel spacing. The DakTicker display streams NASCAR-related themes featuring Nextel point standings, race results and upcoming racing events.
The Cordish Company, a Baltimore-based real estate development and entertainment operating company, launched the only official NASCAR-sanctioned specialty restaurant designed specifically for racing fans in early February.
The 25,000sq-ft, $10 million, two-level NASCAR Sports Grille combines quality design and finishes, a NASCAR themed menu, rows of gleaming NASCAR Winston Cup Cars, rare artifacts and memorabilia, and state-of-the-art audio and visual attractions.
The DakTicker LED displays streaming financial data, sports and news headlines from a variety of data providers. It’s Venus DataStreamer control software manages and displays stock, news, weather and marketing information.
