NBC Universal selects Miranda Technologies for new HD facility build-outs

Miranda Technologies has signed a multi-year deal to provide NBC Universal with HD terminal, channel branding, and multi-imaging solutions as part of the company's project to standardize its new HD facility build-outs.

As part of the purchase, NBC Universal chose HD Imagestore units for channel branding, Kaleido K2 multi-image display processors and an array of HD interfacing modules that includes the XVP 801i.

Miranda's solutions will also be integrated into the NBC Olympics facilities, and will be online for the 2006/2008 Olympics in Torino and Beijing.
