NTP Technology unveils Penta 725 digital audio router

NTP Technology announced the Penta 725 series, a new range of compact digital audio signal processors, during IBC2007.

The first in this new product family is the Penta 725-100, a standalone router with 64 AES/EBU stereo and dual MADI inputs/outputs.

The Penta 725-100 is designed for use in modern broadcast studio, post-production and outside broadcast environments. Its compact 1RU chassis can be controlled locally or remotely and includes front-panel navigation keys and a compact display for local configuration and system setup. An integral Web server enables remote TCP/IP-based configuration and control via RJ45 Ethernet.

The Penta 725-100 router conforms to AES3 protocol via rear-panel D connectors and to the AES10 Serial MADI via optical fiber.
