Omneon to show servers with MXF media wrapper support at IBC2004

At IBC2004, Omneon Video Networks will show its Omneon SPECTRUM media servers with support for MXF and HD.

Omneon’s SPECTRUM systems support multichannel, multi-format operations, including SD and HD simultaneously, while offering integration with a broad range of products from third-party vendors.

Omneon has broadened the HD format support of SPECTRUM systems, making them capable of supporting all HD formats simultaneously.

Additionally, the company has added support for MXF media wrappers, letting customers choose between MXF or QuickTime for their workflow.

Omneon also will show SPECTRUM media server solutions for production, distribution and archive applications.
