OmniBus to unveil OPUS content management suite

OmniBus will introduce several new products at NAB2005, including content management, automation and newsroom solutions.

The company will debut the OPUS suite of content management products at the show - designed for the operational requirements of broadcasters worldwide.

OPUS’ modular design enables it to ensure content is efficiently ingested, managed and tracked in and around production facilities and taken to air. It allows broadcasters to integrate all of their systems under a single operational interface.

For automation, the company will unveil G3 Control, an advanced station management system over distributed networks that encompasses solutions for router control, machine control and integration with signal processing equipment. It also will introduce Colossus V3, a new transmission automation system, and TX>Play, a highly scalable modular automation system that complements Colossus.

The HeadLine Newsroom System now includes HeadLine Ingest, a suite of G3 components for news ingest, and HeadLine TX, a manual and semi-automatic playout solution.
