Korean handset maker and originator of the TruEmotion predictive user interface, Pantech, just launched its new multimedia Sky IM-R470S touch-screen phone that receives DMB mobile TV and plays unconverted video files.

With a 3.2in WVGA (800 × 480) touch screen and a 160-degree viewing angle, the Sky IM-R470S includes a DMB mobile TV receiver, GPS, Bluetooth, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, a 3-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal memory and a media player that can handle a wide swath of video files including H.264, MPEG-4, DivX and XviD.

The Sky IM-R470S is now only available in South Korea through SK Telecom, but because Pantech is currently negotiating with some European and U.S. carriers, it may be available in other countries soon.
