PlayBox’s new time-shift server can insert logos and captions.
At IBC2009, PlayBox Technology is introducing TimeShiftBox. Developed in response to demand from existing customers for a time-shift solution, the server can delay video and audio together by a few seconds to several days using ASI or SDI inputs and outputs. Both SD and HD video are supported. There is also the option to add logo insertion or a full CG package with the graphics internally keyed over the output video.
Operation is straightforward with a main menu window for the delay setting. TimeShiftBox also inherits useful monitoring features, such as viewing the preview input and delayed output video as well as audio level monitoring, from the established AirBox playout server.
