PlayBox Technology to offer Edge Server

Sep 3, 2009 10:31 AM

At the IBC2009, PlayBox Technology will showcase its Edge Server, the centerpiece of the company’s unattended automated remote playout solutions that enable the full operation and monitoring of distant broadcast playout. It can use the Internet as the link for all content delivery, control and monitoring. Customizable to fit user requirements, single- and multichannel operation and full equipment redundancy are available. The automated remote playout solution allows the complete localization of content branding, including commercials, station IDs, multilingual audio, subtitles and graphics. This makes possible low-cost local playout from any network operation’s location.
