Ross Video to unveil version 9.0 software for Vision QMD/X switchers

Ross Video will highlight the latest advances to its Vision QMD/X line of multidefinition production switchers and launch version 9.0 software for the switchers at the NAB Show.

Version 9.0 enhancements include:

• up to eight channels of DVE in a single MLE
• WhiteFlash transition type
• expanded still-store functionality with thumbnails
• animation trimming
• new warps
• MLE auto follow

Vision version 9.0 also offers an expanded complement of device controls, including serial or Ethernet control of VTRs, video servers, audio servers, audio mixers, robotic cameras, character generators, UMDs and monitor walls.
