Rohde & Schwarz has expanded its R&S DVM family with the R&S DVM50 MPEG-2 monitor and analyzer.
The DVM50 is designed to monitor one or two transport streams while offering the full functionality of its 20-transport stream counterpart, the R&S DVM100.
The R&S DVM50 runs on a laptop or PC via a graphical user interface that displays results. The system offers comprehensive monitoring functionality that users can configure.
In addition to the standard parameters of the first, second and third priority defined by the TR 101 290 Measurement Guidelines, numerous other parameters are monitored, including data rates, alterations in the transport stream, conditional access information and specific parameters of single frequency networks.
