Russia’s RTTV enhances on-air look for Spanish channel with Vizrt graphics

Vizrt has signed a deal to supply graphics equipment to Russia Today (RTTV) for its Spanish-language channel that appears throughout Russia.

RTTV purchased a full broadcast graphics and channel branding solution for its graphics department, two studios and newsroom. The order includes numerous copies of Vizrt’s Viz|Artist, several Viz|Engines, Viz|Ticker, Viz|Trio, Viz|Content Pilot and a newsroom interface.

The deal was signed during the recent broadcast exhibition NAT EXPO in Moscow, through RTTV prime system integrator OKNO TV.

In addition, Vizrt signed a contract with NTV Plus in Moscow for a high-end Ardendo Media Asset Management solution. This project will be conducted through Q4 2006 and during 2007.

The total of the two orders is approximately $1 million, Vizrt said.
