SGL unveils FlashBrowse II at NAB2009

Software Generation (SGL) has introduced FlashBrowse II, the newest member of its FlashNet archive management portfolio.

FlashBrowse II is a browser-based, crossplatform Web tool that allows FlashNet users to capture simple metadata and to archive and restore media from many different forms of archive. Content can be pushed to the FlashNet archive automatically using a third-party system (such as a media asset management or automation), or, in the case of more cost-effective systems, the archive process can be user driven directly from FlashBrowse II. Using the manual archive process, the user can search any number of broadcast video servers for content. This can then be tagged and archived by FlashNet.
