Signum’s new BlackHive HD playout device scales from one to eight channels.

Signum Bildtechnik has released a new multichannel HDTV playout device, the BlackHive. This new product follows the concepts of the SigiPlus and SigiStar playout devices and features a similar look and feel.

Signum BlackHive is available in versions with one to eight channels. Each channel includes still and clip stores with integrated mixing functions. This new system is also enabled to handle both uncompressed and compressed formats.
