The new RouteCase packs a powerful and affordable unit into a carry-on flight case with the capabilities to support the production needs of live sporting events.
At IBC2009, Brick House Video is demonstrating SIS LIVE’s new compact flyaway kit, RouteCase, built around Brick House Video’s Callisto Micro mixer. SIS LIVE covers 100,000 hours of live sports events worldwide each year, including Formula One, the Wimbledon Championships, UEFA Champions League football and European Tour Golf.
The new RouteCase packs a powerful, affordable unit into a carry-on flight case with the capabilities to support the production needs of live sporting events. It’s designed specifically to work in multiple environments and replace less flexible and compact units.
The unit measures 16.2in x 12.5in x 5.5in and incorporates all the essential features necessary for live production, including a wireless camera link and quad-split monitoring. The highly portable system is simple to set up and operate and offers three full channels of audio/video processing with mains/battery operation, talkback and remote control. A rugged integrated flight case design helps it stand up to harsh conditions. To ensure compatibility with current format trends, RouteCase also offers as an option Let It Wave upconversion for simultaneous HD output.
