Snell & Wilcox unveils new processing modules at NAB

Snell & Wilcox will increase its line of more than 400 IQ Modular signal processing cards by introducing 26 new 3Gb/s-capable modules at NAB. Available in 76 variants, the modules allow users to construct any kind of broadcast infrastructure through a set of intelligent building blocks.

There are new modules for frame synchronization, audio embedding and de-embedding with advanced Dolby E/D processing, metadata handling, and SMPTE 2016 AFD ARC support. All feature auto set-up and full monitoring for maximum performance.

Also new at NAB will be several enhancements to existing IQ Modules. These include the addition of a powerful detail enhancer to the IQUDCOO up/down/crossconverter with synchronizer and the IQARCOO aspect ratio converter, both of which now provide sharper image conversion.
