At IBC2004, Sony expanded its lineup of LMD-series LCD monitors from entry-level to high-end, multiple-viewing applications.
Sony launched HD/SD switchable and SD only, 16:9 wide screen and 4:3 screen LCD monitors. The LMD-series monitors boasts superior picture quality in still and moving images, improved image performance and a reduction in the need for manual adjustment.
The two-piece design separates the display and video processing units. The display is compact and lightweight, increasing the variety and flexibility of mounting options. Sony has also added one-piece LMD monitors to complement the current line up.
