SSL features C100 HD broadcast console with new BlackRock processor

At IBC2008, Solid State Logic (SSL) demonstrated the latest generation of its C100 HD digital broadcast console range.

The company showed the C100 HD-L with the new BlackRock processor system and accompanying RIO modular I/O rack. BlackRock is a new miniaturized version of the established Centuri processing core that reduces the size of the rack enclosure to a compact 2RU. The new RIO I/O reduces the size of the Centuri I/O enclosure to 7RU.

The C100 HD-L, the newest member of the C100 family, is a preconfigured console designed for the facility needing C100 power without the high capacity provided by the flagship C100 HD.
