TeamCast, BBC cooperate on development of DVB-T2 demodulator

Jun 18, 2009 2:09 PM

TeamCast has collaborated with the BBC in the development of a DVB-T2 demodulator for professional applications.

Under the collaboration agreement, TeamCast is licensed to use the BBC's embedded demodulator software as the functional core of the overall product firmware developed by TeamCast. This firmware runs on the same Power4Cast platform as the Power4-T2 modulator released a few months ago. This means the product will be able to support additional modes and features of the T2 specification through simple firmware upgrades.
